7 Habits For Highly Effective Mind Power

It's a rip-off from a famous book about 7 habits, and numbered lists give form to ideas, making them more practicable. Being specific helps. Goal-setters know "$90,000" is a more influential goal than "more money." "7 habits" is likewise more catchy than "some good habits." Create your own mental forms - there's a good habit to start. Then develop the following seven habits as well.

1. Take care of your body.
General health is conducive to mind power, of course, but you should also develop a few specific habits, like eating fish and other brain foods daily, or taking walks three times a week.

2. Take care of your brain.
A routine of weekly chess matches, regular reading, intelligent conversation, or crossword puzzles can exercise the brain and keep it strong. If you find music that help you think, get in the habit of using it.

3. Question everything.
Make it a habit to identify reporter biases every time you watch the news, or to challenge the assumptions hidden in every conversation.

4. Identify essentials.
McDonalds doesn't make better burgers, so why are they successful. Start looking at every concept, thing and situation with the question in mind, "What is essential here?"

5. Be a problem-solver.
A fun and possibly productive habit, is to look at everything with the thought, "How can this be done better?" Practice a few specific problem-solving techniques until you find yourself using them "before you know it."

6. Be self-aware.
It's crucial to maximum mind power that you learn to see your own strengths and weaknesses. You also need to know what's going on in your head, just below consciousness. There will be more on this in the next lesson.

7. Use your knowledge.
If you don't put your thoughts into action regularly, your brain may engage in fantasy more than productive thought. You're basically telling it that thinking isn't relevant to the real world. Play mental games for fun and training, but also be sure to apply the lessons learned to real problems.

You probably noticed that each of these 7 habits is really a collection or category of habits. Don't stress over how many you develop or how fast. The important thing is to just keep working on yourself.

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." - Aristotle

How To Develop A Habit

Use notes, lists, and friends to remind you to consciously repeat a behavior or action. Use "triggers" too. Those are things that remind you. If you do a quick meditation each time you get in your car, the car becomes your trigger. The morning alarm, seeing the sun, a place - anything can be a trigger.
Basically, you need to use anything you can to remember to do the things you want to become habit. Some psychologists say it takes about three weeks to form a habit, which seems about right, but we're all different. Consciously repeat an action or behavior until it becomes automatic - and that's how long it takes for you.

Problem Solving Techniques

Change of perspective. Try pretending you are rich, poor, a child, a visitor from another planet. How do you see the problem from this new perspective? Einstein imagined riding on a beam of light, and used the insights from that to come up with his theory of relativity, so this technique has been known to work.
Attribute listing. Used by research-and -development departments of many companies, this method starts by identifying existing attributes. These may including physical, social, emotional and whatever other aspects that occur to you. You then work on one attribute at a time.
Designing a baby seat for cars, for example, might start with appearance. Will a different color sell better? The attribute of comfort might be examined to create a new padding. Emotional considerations may lead to seats that "feel" safer to parents, perhaps with a name change ("Guardian Angel Car Seats?"). Looking at the attribute of mobility could lead to lighter designs, or seats that become backpack child-carriers.
Seeing the solution. Try clearly imagining what a successful outcome would look like. For example, restaurant employees often don't clean well, because they can't "see" the mess they work in. The owner might find that a daily checklist doesn't work. Then he imagines a successful outcome - a health inspector looking around, and commenting on how clean things are. This mental picture suggests that outsiders more easily see what's wrong, giving the owner the idea of weekly "inspections" by a friend, customer, or anyone from outside the business.
Challenge your assumptions. This can be a powerful problem solving technique, especially for personal issues, where there are so many hidden assumptions. The kids are fighting over the television, and you are tired of it. You may be assuming the following: 1. You need to have a TV; 2. Fighting over the TV is the problem; 3. The fighting needs to stop; 4. It's your problem.
What solutions does challenging these assumptions suggest? 1. Get rid of the TV, or limit it's use; 2. Deal with the general issue of the kids' behavior; 3. Leave the room, close the door and let them fight; 4. Tell the kids it's their problem, and they have a week to come up with a solution, or the TV goes.
Random Input. Look around, and randomly pick an object, then ask what it might teach you about your problem. Stressed out by driving? A mailbox might suggest using the mail and phone more to avoid driving places. A toy truck may remind you that it's less stressful to drive a smaller car. A map could give you the idea to move to a less-busy town. What can a bird, a bike, a lamp, or a blanket tell us about the problem of stressful driving?
You'll have many silly ideas when using problem solving techniques like this one. Don't be too dismissive of them, as they sometimes trigger a thought that's more useful. "Tired of job," plus "snow," may rattle around in your brain for a minute, to become "snow... melts, and runs into little streams... little streams add up to bigger streams... If I had several other streams of income, I wouldn't need my job." Work with each random input for at least a few seconds before moving on to the next.
Assume the absurd. Then make it make sense. "Put our store in the customer's house" was absurd until there were shopping networks on TV.
Ask people. They may have good ideas, but in any case this helps you be sure that you are not overlooking anything obvious.
Solve problems by causing them. Think of all the ways you could make a problem worse, and each of these may suggest a partial solution.
Write it down. Then find another way to express it, and write that down. Write everything that comes to mind, and later you can sort through your notes for the good ideas.
Break it down. It's easier to motivate yourself if you attack one part of a problem at a time, and many problems are really a collection of smaller problems.
Sleep on it. Outline a problem in your head before bed, then let your subconscious mind go to work. It's a good idea to have a pen and paper available, ready for any middle-of-the-night inspirations.

Mind Power- Inner Psychology to Success

The term mind power and the subconscious mind power are described in many different ways. In the psychosomatic sense mind power is labeled as ability to have emotions, imagination, memory, and will; and subconscious mind power is labeled as part of the normal individual’s personality in which mental processes function without consciousness under normal waking conditions. 1. How Mind Power and Subconscious Mind Power work
2. How to use Subconscious Mind for success
Mind power is our conscious mind, the way we think. The mind is similar to a constantly flowing spring however a natural spring cannot send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening, nor yield both salt water and fresh. So it is with the mind and its thoughts; it cannot equally think negative and positive thoughts at the same time. One will rule the other.
Since the mind reflects habitual thoughts, it is therefore our responsibility to influence our mind and brain with positive emotions, thoughts and energy as the dominating factors in our mind. Mind power is beyond positive thinking or brain power, it is thinking than believing what you think that will manifest your reality. Since this mind power is power of thought and beliefs, and these thoughts and beliefs will create the outcome of your now, you will want to stay aware to the reflections you are thinking.
Now mind power is a dual system that includes your power of thought(brain) and your subconscious mind. We all have subconscious mind power; it can be as small as smiling at your boss in the hopes of improving the odds of acquiring a raise.
It can be the way you unconsciously handle a situation whether appropriately or not. Power of the subconscious mind comes from the thoughts and beliefs of your the power of the your mind. However you think and believe is what your subconscious mind power will produce. This is done continuously, one minute at a time. Every thought nourished regularly by your mind power will activate your subconscious mind to generate those thoughts and energy whether good or bad into your life. This is how you’re present and future is created. mindpowers
Your mind power and your subconscious mind work together and they fashion your reality. Let’s use a parallel to help you visualize how this works. Your subconscious mind power is similar to fertile soil that consents to any seed planted inside it. Your habitual thoughts and beliefs are the seeds which are being continually sown and they will eventually produce a crop. So if you plant weeds you will get weeds, if you plant fruit, you will get fruit. In other words, you reap what you sow. Now the conscious mind is the gardener, and it is the mind power to choose what reaches our inner garden- the subconscious.
Unfortunately, most of us do not have green thumbs because of lack of knowledge of this law, the psychology behind this success and because of this ignorance we have allowed all kinds of seeds, both good and bad, to enter. So our subconscious mind power will manifest failure, ill health and all kinds of misfortunes just as effortlessly as it will manifest success and abundance. However, it cannot manifest it both at the same time, which is why the need to constantly actuate the positive until the fertile soil of your subconscious mind power reaps only abundance.
Success is only a choice away.

The Brain Learning Exercises

Learn something new. Pick up a magazine on dogs, for example, while you are waiting for the dentist. Scan the articles and relate what you learn to what you already know. If you are a builder you may discover how the home requirements of dog owners are different from others. You might expand your knowledge, but the purpose of this brain exercise is to train yourself to automatically look for connections between things. This helps you think more creatively. It also helps your memory, because having more connections makes it easier to recall things. A good way to learn something new, and at the same time use your driving time efficiently, is to listen to audio books. You can find books on tape or compact disc at many public libraries. You can also access a wide selection of titles, both fiction and non-fiction, at several online suppliers.
Sing To Solve Problems
When you are alone in your car, try singing about something you are working on. This taps into and exercises your right brain. Have you ever noticed how it is easier to rhyme when you sing than when you just speak or write? This is because the right brain is better at pattern recognition. By doing this brain exercise regularly you can train yourself to tap into the power of the right brain. This will make you a more effective problem-solver. If you doubt the distinction between the hemispheres of the brain, look at how stutterers can stop stuttering as soon as they start singing. Try it
More Brain Exercises
Here's a brain exercise you can use to help you concentrate better. You simply pay attention to what is going on in your head, and you resolve any little "mind irritations" you find there. If you feel stressed, there is a reason. Perhaps you never figured out where that book was that you were looking for this morning, and it has been quietly bothering you all day, just below consciousness. If you can become aware of all these stressors, small and large, and deal with them, you will feel more relaxed and have greater concentration and brain power in general.
Dealing with them doesn't mean you can resolve all these issues now. You can, however, do something with them so you can let them go for the moment. Write "find book" on your to-do list, and your mind will let go of the concern for now. Just bringing a problem to full consciousness and telling yourself something like, "There is nothing I can do about this until Friday," will often stop the unconscious worrying. After doing these brain exercises a few times, you'll find it becomes easier to recognize what is just below the surface, irritating you and sapping your brain power.
Try breathing deeply also. This shouldn't be classified with "brain exercises," but it can help. Get that oxygen into your blood, and into your brain. You can exercise your brain with hard riddles as well.

Booste Your Brain

You might have read about these techniques on the website, but did you try them? For the course to work, and for the other lessons to make more sense, you have to actually try them. Also, not everyone is the same, but some of the following will give you results.

1# Do math in your head while slouching, breathing shallowly, and with your mouth hanging open. Multiply two-digit numbers, add several numbers - just do whatever you can normally do without pen and paper. After a few tries, sit up straight, breath deeply through your nose, and keep your mouth shut, while doing similar math problems. Do you notice how much easier it is the second way?

2# This one demonstrates how sugar is the opposite of a brain booster. If you're familiar with the "sugar blues," and the brain fog it causes, just skip this exercise. Otherwise, do any mental activity, from balancing a checkbook to reading an article. Then eat a sugary donut or piece of cake on an empty stomach, wait fifteen minutes, and try the activity again. The lesson will stick with you once you've related that feeling you get to the sugar.

3# This is an exercise to show you how creative your mind can be. Do it while driving, sitting on the porch, or wherever. Start by giving yourself problems to solve in your head or on paper. These can be issues in your life, like how to deal with a rude co-worker, or fun problems, like how to make fast food faster, or designing a better refrigerator.

4# Pick a problem to solve, and find any assumptions you and others are making about it. Then find a creative solution by challenging those assumptions. Look carefully for those assumptions, though, because they aren't always obvious. If you are designing a better light, you'll probably assume it needs to illuminate the things around it, right?

5# Challenge that. Could the things themselves be lights? Books, tables, and chairs that glow, so you don't need harsh light filling the room? Could a light illuminate in a way that only people with special glasses could see there way around? That might have security applications.
6# Does a table need legs? Do you really have to make more money? Do cars need wheels? Challenge the framing of the questions themselves. "A better chair" becomes is there something better than chairs? Try this exercise, and you'll see how much creative mind power you have.

7# Take a walk, and you'll probably find your mind works better ten minutes into it.Sing the day's events, and see how much easier it is to rhyme when singing. You've just accessed the power of your "right brain," which is better at pattern recognition and spatial reasoning.
Close your eyes, relax, and take three deep breaths through your nose. Notice how your thinking is clearer afterwards? Please follow my blog for more.

How To Solve a Problem

Let your unconscious mind do your problem-solving, using one of several techniques. First, try outlining a problem in your mind before going to sleep, and telling your brain to go to work. Einstein had good luck with this technique, sometimes getting the "ah-ha" insight while shaving the next morning. Next, instruct your mind to keep working on the problem while you are doing other things. There is more than we know going on inside our heads. Finally, work on problems when you are in a drowsy state. This can result in more creative solutions.
Challenge your assumptions. For example, if you aren't making enough money and you assume you need another job, ask "do I really need a better job?" Maybe you can get a raise, or you can make the job that you already have better. A business on the side might be another option. Don't let your assumptions limit your possible solutions.
Break big problems down into smaller ones. Buying a house is a big move that is really a bunch of small steps. This is true of many problems. Start by addressing all of the components of a problem individually, and it may not seem so overwhelming. This makes it easier to motivate yourself.
Ask three people for their opinions and/or advice. They may have good ideas, but in any case this helps you be sure that you are not overlooking anything obvious.
Write down the problem. Then find another way to express it and write that down. Continue with all the possible solutions and any ideas that come to mind. Write EVERYTHING, then come back to it later to pick the diamonds out of the dirt.
Change your perspective. Pretend you are very rich, very poor, a child, a visitor from another planet. How would you see the problem from this new perspective. Einstein imagined riding on a beam of light to come up with his theory of relativity, so this technique has been known to work.

Increase IQ Level

Breath deep. This is one of the easiest and most effective ways to improve the functioning of your brain immediately. By breathing deeply we relax and put more oxygen in the blood (therefore in the brain), both of which help. Relaxation has been proven to improve brain function. Low oxygen levels in the blood have been shown to decrease it. Since most of us are in the habit of breathing too shallowly, this is a quick way to increase IQ. By the way, if you breath through your nose, you are more likely to breath deeply.
Meditating also helps, primarily because of the deep breathing aspect. The state of mind achieved through a simple breath-watching meditation allows true relaxation, and is conducive to creative problem solving. Just close your eyes and breath through your nose, deeply at first, then in whatever way is comfortable. As thoughts arise, dismiss them and return your attention to your breath. Do this for at least a few minutes.Sit up straight, and close your mouth. Good posture affects our state of mind, and helps us to think more clearly. Try an experiment to prove this to yourself. Do math problems in your head; first while slouching, with your mouth open; then while sitting up straight with your lips together. You'll get the point.

Exercise a little. Physical activity-just enough to get the blood pumping-can "wake up" your brain enough to help you think better. Walking seems to work best, but any aerobic activity can help increase your IQ.
Sleep well. You knew this one, right? Just remember, the evidence shows us that the quality of sleep is very important, not just the quantity. Skills

Mind Power

People think that an IQ is the thing that is permanent and unchangeable but it is not reality. Latest researches of mind scientist have shown that 50% of IQ level is in genes and rest of 50% can be changed by changing habits. Here the best methods are given to booste your IQ up to 14 points.
Step 1#
Chose the right food at right time like meat, fish or egg in breakfast because eating protiens increase the prodution of neurotransmetres which are essential for high speed calculations, alertness and critical thinking.
Save your carbohydrates for night time.
Step 2#
Take some dark chocolate in a day because they are antioxident and increase blood flow to brain that make learning easier, improving your memory and help you to think faster.
Step 3#
Take several small meals a day rather rhan three heavy meals.
Step 4#
Take green food higher in Vitamin B more anti-oxidant that helps to digest food and increase blood flow to brain and mental accurity.
Step 5#
Perform your daily routine work for exercise brain using your non-dominant hand for routine tasks or count backward from 90 in 3 seconds for an excellent brian booster. It will create new neuro-pathways in your brain increaasing your brain power .
Step 6#
Get more aerobic exercise to boost your muscles to increase blood flow to brain.

Reality

What is real? The things that we think are real are real  and the things that we think are not real are unreal. Everything is thinking whatever we think and whatever we imagine. The past is thinking related with memories and the future is also thinking related with imaginations. Do you think that present is also thinking? Yes but with real events because we think they are real. So thinking is reality. We can think and make real to unreal and unreal to real. Thinking power is required for a mind that is called the mind power
